MAHARASHTRA CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (MCED)

The Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED), established in 1988 as an autonomous society under the Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, has been instrumental in nurturing entrepreneurship across the state. Dedicated to empowering aspiring entrepreneurs, MCED offers a wide spectrum of training programs—ranging from Entrepreneurship Development and Technical EDPs to Residential and Women Empowerment programs—through its extensive network of regional and district offices. With over 14.5 lakh participants trained to date, the institute combines quality training with ongoing hand-holding support, including modern initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 and online learning platforms, to ensure that trainees not only acquire skills but also actualize their entrepreneurial aspirations.
