MAHARASHTRA STATE KHADI & VILLAGE INDUSTRIES BOARD (MSKVIB)

The Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board (MSKVIB), established on 11th April 1960 under the Bombay Khadi and Village Industries Act, 1960, is an autonomous body mandated to promote, organize, and regulate Khadi and Village Industries in the State. The Board supports rural artisans and entrepreneurs through financial assistance, training, cooperative development, and marketing initiatives, while also undertaking research and awareness programmes to popularize Khadi products. Guided by a decentralized structure with District Committees in every district, MSKVIB plays a pivotal role in strengthening rural livelihoods, fostering self-employment, and ensuring inclusive socio-economic development across Maharashtra.
